Top Beauty Bargain Of The Week

SOAP & GLORY - BIG SPLENDOUR - Boots stores from this morning have this reduced from £60 to £25!
Absolute top bargain!

There is no way i would actually spend £60 on this, but they reduce it every year at Christmas and it's well worth it at the reduced price.

The contents are - all packaged in a beautiful big cosmetic case :

Sexy Motherpucker lip gloss : £9
Hand Food: £5
Clean On Me : £5.11
Heel Genius: £5.50
Face, Soap & Clarity: £7
Calm One, Calm All : £5.50
Pulp Friction: £8
The Righteous Butter: £10.21
Off Your Face :£4.50
Mist You Madly : £6.50

And my calculations make this out to worth a total of (going by the prices of each item if bought separately in Boots ) : £66.32

So therefore this offer saves you a grand total of : £41.32 !!!

BARGAIN!! especially since you get the super cute big cosmetic bag too! Last year's set came with a great big canvas tote bag which has since proved very handy for storing my knitting in.

I only ever use Soap & Glory stuff when it's on offer like this, as i find it quite expensive otherwise (compared to cheap stuff that is..) . I do quite want to try out their new make up range though.

HURRY WHILE STOCKS LAST!!

XOXO

Today

I realised that I have been lacking in outfit picture posts, so to resolve this I have taken a picture of today's outfit.
Today I have mainly been wearing my River Island snood (which I have decided was the best winter buy ever & I actually couldn't live without it now as it keeps my neck super warm), Primark Parka & feathered boots, Metallica Tshirt & River Island grey cardigan with tiger print on.

Oh & my ring of the day is a FANG ring! (that is a ring shaped into fangs obviously.) - from Topshop (of course)

Christmas Wreath

I have just got back from my second W.I (women's institute) meeting & absolutely LOVED it.
We made Christmas wreathes & this is a picture of my efforts- one of it starting to take shape & then the finished wreathe (or Welcome Ring!) .

I've decided im just gonna use mine as a table decoration, maybe with a candle in the middle as I don't trust the wind not to ruin all my efforts if I hang it up outside .

I decided to add some glittery decs to mine & silver jingle bells . I have to say everyone's looked fab, the more natural ones with berrys & pine cones looked gorgeous.

It surprised me how easy & simple it was to make one & actually make it look quite good! Plus not to mention cheap, as all the foliage was free from gardens & hedges!
We paid £2.50 each for the oasis rings , which I think is good value!

Apparently if I water it a bit each day then it should (fingers crossed) last till Christmas ! It's a shame really that you can't somehow dry them so that you can keep them for each year . But I guess it'll be fun to do different theme s each year, I think I'll definitely make more of them now I know how easy they are!

I watched Kirstie Allsopp's handmade Christmas today & it really irritated me (well she did). I can't even explain why.. I think it's jealousy, because I wish I was more crafty & could just make heart garlands out of left over "rags" that I have lying about.. But I don't have a bag full of "rags" of material lying about or a glue gun etc etc etc..

Anyways I'm very proud of my first ever handmade christmas wreath!

Bunny Hat

OK... seriously - would anyone wear the above hat?
I can't decide whether it's amazingly cool or the worst thing ever created.  Think i'm leaning more towards the latter..
£25 and this could be your new headwear from ASOS.
I have yet to see anyone wear it out on the streets...

XOXO

PS. on a similar note.... SERIOUSLY? £80 for these "mongolian ear muffs" Also available in bright red! - They've been reduced to £56.... wonder why.....

Topshop Jewellery Love

I know i've mentioned this before but i LOVE Topshop jewellery, i think it's the best high street shop for jewellery.. although the only thing that annoys me about it is that some of it does discolour. (I've been told that putting clear nail varnish stops this, but haven't got round to trying it yet)
Gold stuff always seems to turn that horrible bronze colour. Having said this, i have a YSL ring that also discoloured, which is tres annoying considering it's a designer ring!!

Anyways i have just found these :

That's right Jesus ear tunnels! HAHA!! Brilliant. £7.50 from Topshop.

Anyways onto other jewellery news... i had a win on the lottery last week!! - BEST thing to happen in ages, however the disappointment was that despite getting 4 whole numbers i only got £68 - okay so that's quite a good win, but you would think for 4 numbers you'd at least get £1000+!! But no....
So i decided to treat myself to a little something... Topshop jewellery obviously..

My 2 new LUSH rings.  Okay.. so one's a bug & the others a skull - and what?! Bang on trend!
I actually blogged about said rings back in October so i'm very happy to actually own them.
Oh my only disappointment was that i wore my new bug ring out on Friday (the day i bought it) & noticed one of the legs is missing, so i'm going to have to take it back to exchange it.

I have a major thing about skulls, so this is perfect for my collection. I now have a right collection of knuckle dusters! Perfect for if i ever happen to find myself in a street brawl i'm sure!

Gruffalo !

Today i bought this ! I couldn't resist... it has HORNS!!
Sainsburies do a range of Gruffalo baby clothes & Hungry caterpillar ones - they are all so adorable but this is just the cutest thing ever (well along with the dalmation fur snowsuit..).

XOXO

I want.

I WANT all of the above.
Especially the snoopy PJs. Unfortunately due to my ever expanding bump i shan't be able to purchase any of the above, so i shall just look instead...
The second skirt down is gorgeous though, reminds me very much of my favourite ever skirt that i got from River Island in the summer with a feather print on. I am very much a fan of the maxi skirt.

Tis The Season..

It's December 1st therefore it is officially CHRISTMAS!

Christmas songs have been played on the radio today so therefore it must be time to get in the festive mood!

I had a day off from work today so therefore i decided to turn my house into a festive grotto since i couldn't resist waiting any longer. I never understand the whole 12 days before Christmas thing & only 12 days after (regarding tree's) - why oh why would you not want a Christmas tree up for the whole of December?!

So as of this evening there are now 4 Christmas tree's! Oh and then my housemate showed up with a fibre optic multi coloured tree & another tree so soon there will be 6 - full on Christmas grotto!

This is the tree in the living room - theme = PINK GLITTER!
(Pictures not very good !)

This is actually the tree i used to Halloween but re-used for Christmas!
Decorated with little stars & clip on glittery sequin birds.
Oh and stood beside it are the obligatory glittery stags!

I should point out now pretty much all decorations etc are all Paperchase!! (Blatantly.. where else?!)

This is the pretty little purple tree in my bedroom, just decorated with snowflakes & blue jingle bells with a bit of pink tinsel!

THE MAIN ATTRACTION -
I'm very proud of my Christmas tree decorating skills. Although its become somewhat of a mish-mash of decorations over the past 2-3 years. I've tried to stick to a multi colour glitter theme! Including stags / penguins / skulls / snowflakes!
I don't actually think that i could stand to have a traditional Christmas tree - you know ones with actual festive things on like father christmas baubles etc. I LOVE having glitter skulls & all that jazz on my tree!!
Although while i was decorating today it made me realise that i am probably going to turn into one of those mothers who won't let their kids decorate the tree for fear of them not doing it correctly!!

To say that i have been listening to Christmas music & am now surrounded by quite a few Christmas tree's i actually don't feel that festive yet... maybe i will once i've watched Home Alone?!

We're making Christmas wreathes at my next W.I meeting which is exciting as i've never made one before! I'm trying to think of a theme for mine.. might go silver / black! Or i could just go down the traditional route....

XOXO
