Retailer Urban Outfitters are being sued for a WHOPPING $28million by model Hailey Clauson's parents for selling a t-shirt that featured an x-rated picture of their 15 year old daughter. - I think the word x-rated might be a bit OTT but it's not a very appropriate pose for a young girl.
Tut Tut.

However...This girls parents have allowed her to pose for these pictures in the first place.. & this is not the most revealing pose she's done so i find it a bit of a joke that the parents are fine for her to pose like this but then as soon as an image of her ends up on a t-shirt they decide to sue!
I'm not condoning Urban Outfitters decision to use such an image on a t-shirt.. but i do think the parents need to realise this is what may happen when your daughter has been allowed to model in make up, short skirts & sky high heels since the age of 14!
I think the fashion industry as a whole really needs to look at how these young girls are being displayed to the public. Yes it may be arty fashion pictures & girls like Hailey Clauson are clearly very pretty, BUT there has to be a line - why can they not be used to more age appropriate shoots?
It's funny that the picture on the t-shirt is much less racy than the below pictures in my opinion.. yet seemingly her parents are fine for her to model like this?! MADNESS!!
What are your opinions on this lawsuit & the image in question!?
XOXO
