WTF is going on with River Island at the moment? It is certainly going down in my estimation.. Alot of the new arrivals are just a bit too 'out there' or look outdated. 
Plus some of it just looks very cheap yet the price tag says otherwise.  


I realise this is the second post in the past week to highlight the bad items currently on sale in River Island, but i felt it needed highlighting again.

Case in point : 


Blue Scarf Print Trousers £30 : 
  Ok, River Island, we know you LOVE 'scarf prints' on clothes. But this is taking it one step too far. I honestly cannot see ANYONE looking good in these trousers - i will admit that i am wrong if i see anyone on the highstreet looking good sporting these, but i am doubtful. 
 I must admit though.. perhaps if these had been in a maxi skirt form, maybe, just maybe i would have been more swayed by them.
It does seem though that printed trousers are going to be BIG this Spring / Summer.

Light brown print peep toe ankle boots - £60 reduced from £100 - SERIOUSLY?!

I am not even going to comment on these.. i think the picture says it all.

There are no words, except perhaps "do you honestly want to look like a member of B*witched"? 

 Black Aztec Print Fringe Maxi Dress £32 
OK. This i would wear, was it not for the ridiculous fringing that had been added to the neckline. It's almost as if someone has looked at the dress and said "No. Too safe, too boring, needs fringing". It doesn't need fringing. End of.
