Yummy Mummy

So i realise i haven't updated this blog in over a month now. BUT i have been busy having babies - well 1 baby! But still it's a time consuming thing. 

Introducing Theodore Kasper 

 BORN - 2-2-2012 @ 7.53PM 
WEIGHT - 8lb 12oz

Obviously he is a very stylish little man already! 

SO... What does it take to be a YUMMY MUMMY?!

According to Urban Dictionary (the gospel of words) the definition of a Yummy Mummy is - 

"Glamorous girls who shop and lunch their way through pregnancy, proudly displaying their little bumps like the latest designer handbag. They generally see pregnancy as an opportunity to buy a whole new wardrobe with a team of personal shoppers on hand. Yummy mummies disguise bleary eyes with Gucci sunglasses and recommend pregnancy to female friends as a fabulous way to detox. Of course, they are sensible, and understand motherhood means making sacrifices, like and reducing the 90mm heel on their Prada shoes to sensible 65mm. "

   ^THIS not particularly true pour moi. For starters, i can't afford Prada shoes nor the latest designer bag, i don't have personal shoppers & i'm not sure morning sickness classes as detox.
EPIC FAIL. But this is clearly the yummy mummy to be. So i have only half failed...

"Yummy mummies usually wear trendy clothes, have great hairstyles and always look fabulous. 

A mother who is interested in looking after herself as well as her family while taking pride in her appearance. She doesn't have to be gorgeous just a little interested in being mildly fabulous"

  BUT ^ this i can attempt. 

 I'd like to be MILDLY FABULOUS! 

Just come across this article from the Daily Mail website regarding Celebrity Yummy Mummies - Celebrity yummy mummies make the rest of us feel like failures 

(What we need to remember is that all of these celebs all of nannies looking after their children.. or so i presume).

So my mission now is to be MILDLY FABULOUS. (or aim high and be totally)!
