TOP TIP - always buy things that are "classic" & versatile. Something like this muted coloured skirt won't go out of fashion & it can be worn during any season, dressed up or down, therefore a must have purchase!
Blue silky top - Primark (£6 i think!), i think i own this in about 3 different colours now as it comes in so handy to just put on for work. Again it's plain & "classic"! - If you do LOVE an item of clothing i think it's definitely worth while to buy it in different colours, maybe not if its a designer piece, but definitely Primark items!!
Scarf.... ALEXANDER MCQUEEN <3 - need i say anymore? This is one of my favourite items in my wardrobe.
The skirt was yet another River Island bargain i think for about £7. I love that it's so versatile, i would wear this with a printed t-shirt or you could wear a thick jumper with it during the chilly winter months with some boots.

A blazer is an absolute MUST have wardrobe STAPLE!
This is my favourite, i think if you are going to get one, make it black! But i love the bright pink contrast lining in this one, it was definitely one of my best buys of 2010 as it was only around £16.99.
Navy is a good colour for a blazer.. but beware that navy doesn't always go well with everything whereas black goes with EVERYTHING!
Plus a blazer is perfect attire for when the weather is still warm but not quite bare arms warm !
