Good Girl, Gone Bad

Reports are emerging that Rihanna will reunite with her ex lover / attacker Chris Brown in the recording studio and it's got me wondering just what kind of example is she setting?

This is at the same time that the full police reports from that incident have been leaked to the press, which just show how truly horrendous that attack was back in 2009 -
  Disturbing police reports

In August that year Chris Brown was sentenced to 5 years probation, 1 year of domestic abuse counselling (erm, what the?!), 6 months community service & a 5 year restraining order (which has now been lifted)- all of this in my opinion is no where near enough for the damage he caused in the attack.

This image was all over the news & it was shocking to see such a huge celebrity looking in this state, especially more so i think as we all found out it was at the hands of another singer in the limelight.
He reportedly punched Rihanna multiple times to the face & body, bit her & tried to choke her in a headlock claiming he was going to kill her before neighbours heard her cries & alerted the authorities.

Along with reports about them hooking up to record vocals together, it has also emerged that the two were together at her birthday party. Seems like the "Only Girl In The world" singer has forgiven Brown for all of the above...
Now what kind of example is she setting to the world? That it is seemingly okay to forgive a man for domestic abuse. She should be showcasing that you can move past these kind of tragic events, not getting back with the man who caused them!

BUT i also have to question what kind of example is the media setting for seeming to forgive Chris Brown for all of this too. As he is still performing at ceremonies such as the Grammys & receiving awards.. even after what we all know the crime he committed & he doesn't even seem to show any remorse for whatsoever.

I find it sad that he has fans tweeting him messages saying things such as "you can beat me up anyday" - what kind of society do we live in when young girls are still fawning over a man who has publicly been caught out for domestic abuse against one of the biggest singers in the world right now?

I wish the media would have a Chris Brown blackout & stop giving him the publicity, radio stations should stop playing his music etc. He (in my opinion) should not have been given the priviledge to perform at this years Grammy's ceremony.
Actually this reminds me, at the time when this all came to light back in 2009 Chris Moyles actually brought this point up on his breakfast show, he didn't agree that they should be playing his music so in a stand against this he talked all through Browns latest release to ruin it. And i say good on him! More people should have done this.
But instead it's almost as if Brown has become some kind of victim / underdog.

I certainly won't be buying any of his singles or seeing him on tour.

Anyways back to Rihanna...

Along with all of the above, i am actually starting to wish her record label or management would put a stop to some of her tweets, as they are not exactly appropriate for young fans...
For exmaple talking about smoking drugs , using the N word. It's not exactly what i would call being a good role model for this generation.
Don't even get me started on her turning up an hour late to her concerts & not even so much as apologising. Fans are the reason you are where you are, don't let them down when they pay good £££ to come see you!

I actually predict that Rihanna may suffer a Britneyesque breakdown in the next year the way she is heading.. (i hope i'm wrong of course but it does seem that way)
I think this is one of the problems of becoming world famous / millionaire at such a young age.

From this fresh faced talent -

To this -

Do you think the media should shun Chris Brown?
