NEW arrivals to the River Island website which i am LOVING :

I am loving the  whole posh kind of secretary look that seems to be coming in with tube midi skirts & monochrome shirts. 
 Unfortunately due to my ever increasing bump & fact that i shouldn't be buying any clothes this means that i can't give in to new styles & fashions...  So hard to walk past River Island / Topshop and do nothing except window shop. 
Although i did actually manage to walk into Primark & not spend a penny! i just browsed! 
Me browsing in Primark & not making even one measly purchase - THIS is incredible!

So since i LOVE Fearne cotton & actually have serious wardrobe envy i thought i would check out her new collection for Very 
 I've been a bit disappointed with her collections as a lot of it is hit & miss.. HOWEVER. 
I fell in love with this dress - 

£79 - i have no idea what event you would have to be attending to justify such a gothic dress, but i love it & i want it. i however shall not be buying it as it doesn't look bump friendly & also i can't justify paying £79 on a dress that i would probably only end up wearing for Halloween to be an elegant vampire. As much as that would be amazing. 


Okay i actually think that is the one & only thing i would consider splashing out on from her collection.
The other items just don't seem very well cut. 
For example... 

Just NO.

Anyways go check out the collection & let me know what YOU think. 
I think i just expected so much more as i love her own fashion sense, but i just don't like the designs and cuts of the outfits here.

Last week

Sorry for the utter lack of posting recently.. i really must start posting lots of super interesting things for you all to read... I have some good ideas of things.. so watch this space. 
In the mean time this is what i have been wearing in the past week.. 

Blue floral baby doll top.. I think it's actually meant to be a dress, but it's really too short to be classed as such. 
I got it last year from New Look, ah the place i used to shop before Primark came to town. 
This top is actually quite good since it's stretchy & being pregnant i have found stretchy things are coming in very handy & saving me money on maternity wear. 
It really is a good job that i have so many pairs of leggings & baggy tops in my wardrobe already!  

I have pretty much been putting my hair into my hair donut thing every day recently, i've found that the downside of long hair is major knots. My hair is a tangled mess.. More on this in another hair related post. 
Anyways messy hair is in.. or so i've been telling myself...!  

And since it's chilly i've been living in my shearling lined coats, this denim one ( Primark ) & my leather one. 
I actually think these have been my best coat investments. Although can you really class coats that only cost £20 or less as investments?! No, probably not. But i have certainly got my wear out of them.  

See here i am wearing my leather shearling jacket.. 
It's been getting cold & wet recently, so have been layering up, i absolutely love this cable knit cardigan i bought from New Look in the sale for about £12, i have a far more expensive Topshop one but to be honest i actually think i've had more wear out of this bargain buy. 
Striped top also New Look.
Scarf - vintage darling! Well borrowed from my Nana's scarf collection, for the past year or two, i absolutely LOVE it, i think i must wear it about 3-4 days a week. Maybe it's down to the sentimental value of it, but anyways it's definitely my favourite scarf ever. (Close second is my McQueen one obviously). 
Skull pendant, which you cant see properly due to my rubbish phone quality pic but it's from Topshop & had jewel eyes. 
Also FYI phone cover is from Paperchase (only the best darn shop in the world - not biased at all.....)


 

I LOVE this ring, i think i got it from the Topshop sale for only a few pounds. 
I think i've said this before but Topshop sales are THE best for getting jewellery bargains. Accesorize is quite good in the sales too, but Topshop is bloody brilliant. 
I have a ridiculous amount of rings from there. I may do a post about my epic ring collection.. Watch this space.  

You may have noticed but i think my favourite look this month is striped tops , leather jacket & scarf.. 
can't really go wrong with this!  

Jewellery wise i have mostly been decorating my wrist with my Pandora bracelet & Links of London sweetie bracelet.
i LOVE both of these so so much. 
 I generally love charm bracelets as it is anyways, but i especially like these. Even if they are stupidly expensive. Links being more so. But it is very pretty & i love the wide choice of charms that you get. 
Although i haven't added any news ones for over a year now as i can't afford them!   Booo!

My bump is starting to make a proper appearance these days, I think if this will stretch a bit more this polo neck striped dress will come in very handy in the winter months. 
New Look.. yet again! 
I really think i need more variety in where i shop... ! 













In other non fashion related news today i found out i am expecting a baby BOY! 
This is exciting news, and i bought my first boy outfit today...

For some reason i've only just come to realise that Disney Couture ( only the cutest jewellery brand in the world... basically Jewellery based around Disney films ) have done a Pirates Of The Caribbean range. And it is to DIE for! 
LOVE it. Ranges from £24 + . It's available from Truffle Shuffle . Do check out the other Disney Couture Products available as they are super adorable.

Violent Lips

The new trendy thing to do - apply temporary tattoo's to your lips.. Not that i've seen anyone round my local town trying this out yet... But there's one celeb whose definitely kickstarted this trend - 

Jessie J of course..

Anyways you can now purchase lip transfers on a lot of websites including ASOS & Topshop - Violent Lips are the brand to watch out for. 

While celebrities like Jessie J may be able to pull off this trend, i'm not sure anyone can get away with it... and for £12 it's a rather pricey risk to take, therefore i'm not sure i'll be rushing to buy them. However - would be good for a fancy dress costume or at halloween. I'd be interested to know how long they actually last.

Album of the week

This week i will be mostly listening to Examples new album Playing In The Shadows. 
I have been waiting for what seems like FOREVER for this to finally be released. It's available to download from ITunes from today however i will be purchasing the CD as i love actually having the CD.. is that a bit too 90's?! 

I know i mention Gaga alot, but this guy comes close to being my favourite music artist.  I've seen him twice live & due to see him again in December, CANNOT wait. He is unbelievable live. I never thought i would go to a dance style gig but seriously love his music (and him!).

So this is the secret to shiny hair....

Kelly Rowland's impressive mane of UNBELIEVABLY glossy hair has been making me incredibly envious for the past.. 3-4 weeks now ( yes i have become an X-Factor addict.. AND WHAT!?).

BUT i find out it is all down to the use of WIGS! Trickery! There was me stocking up on Aussie shampoo & Lee Stafford bling spray only to find out i'd need to splash out on buying a wig to achieve that amount of glossy-ness ! GUTTED.

Kelly Rowland even has nicknames for her wigs..

Britneys Back Bitch.

 

Britney graces the cover of UK Glamour October edition. 

I'm really enjoying the whole Britney revival that seems to be happening this year. She seems to be relatively back on top of her game & looking good these days (although maybe that's down to  the help from photoshop..)

She does look pretty amazing on this cover though, LOVE the dress. 

In the interview she talks about turning the big 3-0 this coming December. 

 I hope she keeps this up!
